Elect Cindy Yen Chen to Cerritos City Council

Records show that most people are not interested in local elections because residents don't know the candidates, or more importantly, residents don't know the difference between the candidates because most of their thoughts are the same old "business as usual".

I think the solution to get more residents to vote in local elections is simple and clear.

Give voters the candidates who can really make a difference:

• Candidates who are around all the time, not just during an election;
• Candidates who will truly listen to residents' concerns and follow up on residents' requests;
• Candidates who will carry out the promises that they make during the campaign;
• Candidates who will be proactive.

I pledge to be your proactive, forward thinking, innovative council member.

I pledge to take your inputs and suggestions seriously, and I will follow up with you.

I pledge to come up with ideas and directions for staff to improve the efficiency of the City, and to offer resident-centered quality services.

 

Please vote for me.  Let us work together and transform Cerritos to a better and greener place tomorrow.
